Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, or, in other words, the rules of the casino, are usually placed on the home page of every online gambling platform. They have to be easily visible on the website, and any user must be able to find them really fast. This is important. In case you cannot find these two pages quickly, and see that they are hidden somewhere on other pages of the website, this is not a good sign.

It means that the platform either has really not beneficial for the user terms and conditions and the privacy policy, and does not want the users to actually read those; or maybe the platform has very sloppy privacy policy or no legal indications and clear rules at all, and it has no intention of informing the user about its approach to business. In case you cannot find these pages easily, you should better leave and find another place to gamble.

When you are able to easily find Terms and Conditions (also called Terms of Use) and the Privacy Policy, these will be two very long, and apparently very boring documents that can be up to 10 pages if you copy them to Google Document. However, the bad news is that you have to read them both very carefully.

Even if you do not plan to make money bets and are not going to deposit any money at all, and your intention is only to play in demo mode for fun, you have to be aware that the website can still collect some personal data from you, and then use it either for its own benefit, or sell it to third parties to send you ads and spam. You don’t want that. So, you have to read the Privacy Policy and find out how this particular platform treats your privacy and security.

This is especially important if you do have the intention to make money bets. It means you will have to provide your email, some details, and even bank details, to the platform, and you really want it to treat this information carefully. What Privacy Policy does is tells you what approach the website takes towards this data. You can copy the document, to be on the safe side, and then use it for a lawsuit, just in case.

Terms and Conditions, on the other hand, define the rules for making bets, the wagering requirements for bonuses, the way bonuses and winnings are paid or withdrawn, and other general and particular rules. You have to read this document, too, otherwise, you may miss some fees for money transfers, or similar stuff. So, reading these two documents is really important.
